As a stay-at-home mom (SAHM), I’m constantly trying to find ways to cut costs, and save money. Which is why I was more than happy to read, and then review Jill Wilson’s book, One Income Mystery.
In essence, this book is helpful for everyone, not only those in the SAHM community. It reaches out to the moms who work from home, the ones who work full-time, or part-time. Really, anyone (male or female) can appreciate the helpful tips and guidelines on how to make it work on less income. Jill has this knowledge, and is willing to share what she’s learned with others.
You’ll have the inside scoop into:
cutting hidden costs from your budget
setting smart goals to become debt-free
frugality in the kitchen
working your way towards becoming a SAH parent, a work from home parent, or going part-time.
While I was familiar with a few of the suggestions listed in this book, there were many more I’d never thought of, like the ones made in Chapter 4, “Savings in the Kitchen”.
This is a must-read for anyone looking to better the quality of their life, or interested in saving a buck or two. Check out Wilson’s blog, and find out more. Happy reading!
Thank you to Jill for her book, in exchange for an honest review.
